We're Nanook & Badger - a team of friends who are passionate about introducing children to the joy of reading.  

We focus on interactive storytelling, using rhythm and rhyme to tell stories that are a delight to read and listen to, and that encourage engagement and improved reading outcomes for young children. 

Our books are custom-made, with the main character fully-personalised so that children can be the hero of their own adventure.

Tom Chitty

Tom is a well-loved cartoonist for the New Yorker, New Statesman, American Bystander and the Literary Review of Canada. Twice-nominated by the National Cartoonists' Society, Tom's quirky, whimsical and distinctive illustrations stand out among contemporary cartoonists. Tom is based in Toronto, Canada.

Kate Reid

Kate has always loved writing rhyming stories and studied English literature and creative writing at university before embarking on a career in communications. A mum to three children, Kate is committed to helping schools raise funds while helping children develop a lifelong love of reading. Kate is based in London, England.

Tom and Kate have been friends since they were very small.
